The Cost of Moving Money on Chain

Transaction fees vary by orders of magnitude across blockchains. Enter your payment volume to see what it costs on each chain, based on current on-chain data.

On-chain fees are charged per transaction — not as a percentage of the amount. Moving $1 or $1,000,000 costs the same.

Estimated cost by network (monthly)

Solana$130.00
Polygon PoS$200.00
Base$380.00
Tempo$400.00

Estimated Cost Breakdown Across Chains

The same payment volume, priced on each network. Because per-transaction fees differ by orders of magnitude, the totals diverge sharply as volume grows — on Solana the cost stays a rounding error, while EVM chains compound into real money.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fee estimates are sourced, why we use medians, and what the numbers mean for production payment flows.

How are fees calculated?

Fee estimates are based on median transaction costs observed on each network. For Solana, this reflects the base fee plus a conservative estimate of priority fees during normal network conditions. For EVM chains (Base, Polygon, Ethereum), estimates reflect median gas costs for a standard token transfer.

Why median and not average?

Averages are easily skewed by outlier transactions. Median fees give a more accurate picture of what a typical payment actually costs on each network.

Are these fees guaranteed?

No. On-chain fees fluctuate with network congestion. This tool is intended to give directional guidance, not a billing quote. Because of local fee markets, Solana fees tend to be more stable under load than other chains, where gas prices can spike significantly during periods of high activity.
